Highway 16 fully open

Highway was previously closed in both direction following a two-car collision

Highway 16 is open in both directions after traffic services removed vehicles involved in a collision.

The Highway was closed in both directions approximately 60 kilometres east of Prince Rupert after a two-vehicle collision earlier today.

Prince Rupert RCMP have confirmed that one of the vehicles occupants was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Terrace traffic services was on the scene with Prince Rupert RCMP investigating.
