Break and enter on Prince Rupert Boulevard
On March 14, a homeowner in the 900 block of Prince Rupert Boulevard reported a break and enter they believed happened between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. The owners found an open window when they got home, and a jar of toonies worth $600 and a gold pendant was stolen. Police are investigating with the help of forensic identification services.
In a press release, Corporal Devon Gerrits said there has been a trend of break and enters in Prince Rupert over the last few months. The RCMP want to remind residents and businesses to lock windows and doors, and report suspicious activity to the police at 250-627-0700.
