A section of Third Avenue West has been closed to traffic today, Dec 6., due to a water leak city staff are currently in the process of fixing.
Third Avenue will be fully closed from Second Street to Third Street, then partially closed from Third Street to Fourth Street with one-way traffic only. Second Street is also partially closed due to the work.
According to Prince Rupert Communications Manager Veronika Stewart, the work should be finished by the end of the day.
Road works across Prince Rupert have been frequent, as the city continues to deal with its failing water system.
