A boil water notice has been downgraded to an advisory in Prince Rupert after just under a month.
Residents were told to boil their water before they drink it after a serious water main break on Oct. 17.
Prince Rupert’s tap water status has flip-flopped recently, but the city has said the advisory will continue due to the ongoing construction across the city. Mayor Herb Pond has previously said that the city will likely be under advisory status for the next three years at a minimum.
