Figure skaters from Prince Rupert’s club shone at the West Area Jamboree competition in Kitimat.

Gloria Liu, from the Prince Rupert Figure Skating Club, placed in every event at the jamboree held on Feb. 24-25.

“Gloria has just recently come back to skating after a couple years off,” said coach Sheri Pringle. “She is a wonderful little skater but a bit afraid of performing. She did awesome and this has pushed her into wanting more performing opportunities.”
