The Chris Danielle Charity Golf Scramble was the idea of Lindsay Gidney and supported by CN Rail, who had several visiting personell on site from Smithers, Prince George and Vancouver. Congratulations go to the Danielle family, guided by Karin Williamson and to the friends who pitched in to organize a wonderful day and evening. The corporate support of CN and companies they do business with, along with local businesses and individuals, a fun time was had with the dessert and item auction.

While the original idea was to raise funds to help Chris, Lynn and their young family, we understand that they have requested the proceeds be used to help our community, by adding diagnostic equipment at our hospital.

Other golf happenings, include the His ‘N Hers 18 hole fun day coming this Saturday. the two person event is open to any team of one male and one female. It’s a great opportunity for a couple to spend Saturday on the course or even Mother and son or a Father/Daughter combination.
