When the final thirty seconds of the game began, Kitimat took out their goalie to add an extra player on the ice, which proved to be a mistake when, during the last three seconds of the game, the Sea Wolves’ Justin Fontaine added another goal to their total, making the final score 7-5 for the Sea Wolves.“At Saturday’s game the team had a good effort. The game was back and forth and we showed improvements from our last game,” Sea Wolves coach Roger Atchison stated, adding that the coaching staff are very impressed with the work ethic of the team members recently.Despite being the champions on Saturday, Sunday’s game was not one of the Sea Wolves best. In the end, the Sea Wolves only got themselves two goals, the second being made by Jadyn Archer at 5:16 in the last period. The ending score was 8 to 2 for Kitimat. “We lost some momentum and Kitimat came on strong. This loss was a pretty tough one to take and we lost a little bit of composure, but overall I think our teams will be very prepared for zones,” commented Atchison, later adding, “They’re a really good squad.”The Sea Wolves  finished first overall in the Skeena Valley League, which entitles them to host zones at home starting on Friday, March 4 and running until the 6.
