What world is the Prince Rupert Port Authority living in?

I am horrified that Don Krusel and the Prince Rupert Port are considering loading tarsands bitumen onto Afromax tankers right here.

The Prince Rupert Port website has a marine risk assessment report which assumes 100 Afromax oil tankers as well as 100 LNG carriers loading in Prince Rupert in 2015.

I guess they just laughed at the idea of encouraging an LNG plant to avoid putting a trestle on Flora Bank eelgrass beds, considering the port is planning something a thousand times worse; 100 million litre tankers right in Rupert harbour, loaded with tarsands oil.

The Exxon Valdez spilled "only" 40 million litres and that spill stretched 750 kilometres along the Alaska coast.

Do they really live in an advertising world of safety and sunlit kelp fields, where no accidents happen?
