This year has been incredibly busy in North Coast- Haida Gwaii and I’m proud to reflect on the amazing progress we’ve made together.
At the beginning of the year Hartley Bay celebrated with the opening of their new childcare centre “Wil Liiłga Su Gyigyet” and we continue to invest in childcare in Prince Rupert and the riding.
We have also seen BC’s $65 million investment put to work through Prince Rupert’s “BIG” water project as construction is well underway. New affordable housing is going up across the city and the $15 million renovation of the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital ER is progressing.
Plans are also advancing for the new Prince Rupert Middle School, set to begin construction in the coming year.
I know there is much more work to be done and I am honoured you entrusted me as your MLA to ensure we keep moving forward.
