The following was received as an open letter to Canada Post.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone at Canada Post a very Merry Christmas — in particular, all the letter carriers across Canada who are about to lose their jobs.
This year we sent about 50 cards to all our friends across Canada via "snail mail". For Christmas in 2014 I am seriously considering not sending any Christmas cards to anyone in Canada.
I will probably telephone all of them using the old fashioned "land line" instead. Cheers!
