On behalf of the staff and management at The Northern View/Northern Connector, we would like to wish all of our mothers — and all mothers for that matter — a very happy Mother’s Day.
The generic definition of a mother is a woman who has given birth to a child.
But that, in and of itself, isn’t truly a mother.
A mother is everything else, whether biological or not. We all have a woman who gave birth to us, but unfortunately, not all of us have mothers.
For those of us who have been raised, mentored and guided by a caring, loving mother, we should be eternally grateful.
While Sunday, May 8 is Mother’s Day, it shouldn’t be the only day.
There are 364 other days each year in which we should thank our lucky stars and her for being Mom. Let’s call them Mom’s Days.
