In Loving Memory ~
Bill was born to parents Burns and Etta Chivers on May 22, 1940, in Liver Pool, QC, Nova Scotia. Bill moved to Prince Rupert in 1962 and worked in the fishing industry at the Pulp Mill and Marinex Sheet Metal as a welder/owner.
Bill enjoyed trap shooting, Snowmobiling, ATVing, and boating. After battling Parkinson for 27 years, Bill developed dementia and died of COVID at Prince Rupert Acropolis Manor.
We are so grateful for the kindness and care provided by the nurses, caregivers, and staff at the manor.
He is survived by his son Allan Kaye, daughter Wendy Shaw, stepdaughter Erin Yeager, brother Weston Chivers, sisters Janet Wagner and Pat Ocescanin, many grandchildren, & Lynn Chivers, his loving wife of 50 years.
He is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
