It is with great sadness that we have lost our father and husband Wilhelmus Vermeeren, age 87. Wim passed away suddenly in the evening of Jan. 31, 2022.
Wim was a loving father of 5 and adoring husband to Elly Vermeeren. He was born in 1934 in Breda Netherland. He grew up surrounded by his large family of 10. He had 9 siblings and a lot of aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister Ria and many other family members in Holland.
Wim was a loving and caring man, he was very strong and family oriented. Always wanted the best for everyone. He also had a love for fishing, and he could make or fix almost anything.
He met his wife, Elly, in the year of 1952, and married in 1957. They had 5 children together. Hank, Jack (Charleen), Eddy (Rita), and twin, deceased at birth, and Billy.
They became grandparents to Chelsie, Andrew, Dillon, Savanna, Shawn, Micheal, Steven, Jen, and Ashton and great grandparents to Oliver, Lily, Mateo, Etta, and Kylan.
Wim stayed by Elly for 65 years. He worked hard to make sure his family was well taken care of. His children loved him, no matter how hard life was, and he never let us down. You will be deeply missed by all. Love you Dad.
There will be no funeral service, as wished by Wim.
