Passed away peacefully in Kamloops BC, 27 days after her brother Atle Arntsen. She was 96.
Toby came to Canada from Norway with her family when she was ten. She grew up, married, and raised her children in Prince Rupert working in the local Cannery for 17 years. Toby and her husband John Pallister didn't leave Prince Rupert until 1988 when they retired in Summerland BC.
Toby is survived by her children Linda Pallister-Hagen (Dave), Jackie Pallister (Loretta), and Lori Bailey (Dan), 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She loved knitting, sewing, and cooking, etc. If she wasn't making an outfit for a new baby, you could find her singing an Elvis tune happily cooking or canning in the kitchen. She was hardworking and no matter what she always made the best of what she had with lots of smiles, love, and laughs. She will be truly missed by all her family and friends. Heaven has received a true angel, Rest In Peace, we love you.
