In Loving Memory ~
Tony was born to parents Mario and Giustina (nee Paganin) Marogna on May 3rd, 1930, in Asiago, Italy.
Tony met the love of his life, Fiorenza, and married in 1960. Soon after, they had their firstborn son, Pablo, in 1961. Tony moved to Canada in late 1961, and his wife Fiorenza and Pablo followed in the spring of 1962. His daughter Nancy was born in 1965, and then his last son, Richard, in 1969.
Tony and his brother John formed Marogna Bros. Construction in 1964. Together, they built many buildings in Prince Rupert. Tony was a part of the Italo-Canadian Club and attended many of the mascarade balls, where he won numerous 1st place prizes for best costume.
Tony was also an avid curler and spent many weekends at the curling clubs in the area wining many events in bonspiels. Tony had two green thumbs and was known for his beautiful flowers and vegetable garden. Another passion of Tony's was his furniture building; he built many pieces that his family will cherish for years to come.
Tony was predeceased by his wife Fiorenza, son Pablo, and brothers Cesare and John.
Tony is survived by his loving family: daughter Nancy (Dave) and son Richard (Lisa); grandchildren Giuliana, Cole, Keenan, and Bianca. Also survived by his siblings Lidia, Giuliano, Franco, and Mara, as well as brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11 a.m.

Please join the family immediately following the service until 1:30 pm downstairs in the Gathering Centre to reflect and celebrate Tony's life
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tony can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
