February 27, 1938 - December 20, 2018
Ruby has passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Born in Revelstoke, B.C. to Giovanna ( Jean ) Vigue (nee Caponero) and Thomas Joseph Vigue. She grew up in Revelstoke, then moved with the family as a teenager to North Vancouver, later settling in Prince Rupert.

Ruby started her career as a meat wrapper for Overwaitea Foods, and then moved onto Shop Easy, and finally to Safeway until her retirement.

Ruby's greatest passion was to share the Good News of Jesus, whom she loved with all her heart. In her younger years, Ruby loved to teach Sunday School, but not only that, she had a girls group in her home every week. She would do crafts, provide snacks and speak more about God's love. Many of these young women gave their lives to Jesus and continued to share the Good News. She also loved attending the Prince Rupert Fellowship Baptist Church and deeply appreciated all of the people who helped look after her in her later years.

Ruby always loved living in Prince Rupert. The smell of the salt air, the beauty of the mountains and ocean so close by were some of the reasons why. Not to mention the wonderful and amazing people who she interacted with for so many years. Well done Prince Rupert, well done!

Ruby is survived by her sister Yvonne (Murray), brothers Tom (Annette) and Don (Lily), many nieces and nephews ( great and great-great) Predeceased by her parents Tom & Jean Vigue, sister Beverly Michaud and sister in law Linda Vigue.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Sat. Jan. 26th at 11 am. Fellowship Baptist Church, Prince Rupert. Reception to follow.
