It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Edwin Martinson at age 77. Husband, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Uncle, Brother-in-law.
Born to parents Kathleen and Edwin Martinson. Later the proud brother to Bobby (Robert).
Ron met his beloved wife Betty at age 19. Married May 13, 1971, had 5 children, losing a son in 1966. Ron was also a foster dad to 3 nieces and a nephew.
Ron worked in construction, was a fisherman and then a longshoreman. Retiring a proud union member of local 505 at age 65.
Ron is survived by his living wife Betty, 4 children: Patricia, Russell, Matthew and Tina, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Kathleen, Edwin, brother Bobby, son Ronald, granddaughter Roni, grandsons James and Russell.
