It is with great sadness that the family of Quock Wing (Troy) Chan announce his passing on July 29, 2019, in Vancouver, B.C.
Troy was born in Enping, China in 1934. At the age of 18, he travelled to Canada hoping to start a new chapter in his life. He lived and worked in Vancouver and many communities in B.C. until he finally settled in Prince Rupert, B.C. in 1971.
Troy will be lovingly remembered as the proud owner of West End Restaurant from 1973 until 2011. He is a kind and hardworking man who loved working alongside his family and seeing his regular customers, who all became close friends. He is a loving father and husband who dedicated his life to providing for his entire family.
Troy is survived by his wife, Pancy; his three daughters, Jessica (Jeffrey), Erina (Lawrence), Melissa; his grand-daughter Jett, and his sister, Han.
