In Loving Memory ~

It is with great sadness that we mourn the unexpected passing of Peter F. Martin. Born in Winnipeg, raised for a few years in Vancouver, his last stop was Prince Rupert.

He grew up on the golf course in Prince Rupert and golf was his game. On the course he was known as Moondoggie in the 1970s. He also played slow-pitch and was in the Friday night bowling league for many years.

He worked at the pulp mill in Port Ed for nearly 20 years and he had his Red Seal Pipefitter-Steamfitter tickets. After the mill shut down he moved to Edmonton to work as a pipefitter. On his days off he would go golfing with his son Alex. They would golf many of the golf courses, obtaining not 1 but 2 hole-in-ones in a single summer making him feel pretty good about himself.

He will truly be missed by his 3 kids and their mother and dear friend Kim Martin.

Klinton (son) and his wife Stephanie, his 3 grandchildren Mariah, Zoey and his only grandson Austin.

Carmen (daughter) and her husband Mike Robinson and 2 grandchildren Jillian and Bennett. His best friend and youngest son Alex.

Also his brother Rob and sister-in-law Susan, his sister Patty and brother-in-law Malcolm Owen, niece Gillian, and his sister Dawn Martin and brother-in-law Gary Corbett.

He was enjoying his retirement.

He was a very kind and giving Dad and would go out of his way to do anything for you.

We will all miss him very much.
