It is with deep sadness that the Campbell Family announces the passing of Mother Peggy Campbell at the age of 94, on June 29, 2023.
Peggy was predeceased by husband Harry Campbell and son Kevin Campbell and leaves behind Carol Campbell (Dennis), Dale Campbell (Wade), Terrence Campbell (Sharon), grandchildren Aidan (Ashley), Tonja (Steve), two great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, her sisters Edna Quock, Rose Etzerza, and brother Belfry Etzerza.
Peggy worked in the fish cannery for 44 years and worked as a supervisor in her last years before retirement. She had such a gentle soul, so caring towards everyone and a great strength, never giving up. Many thanks goes to Dr. Chantal Piek and the staff and workers of the Acropolis Manor.
In honour of Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a burial at the Tahltan village in Telegraph Creek, B.C., where she was raised, it will take place in July 2024.
