Norman Ralph Shenton

January 8, 1932 - July 14, 2019
Predeceased by his son Brian, his parents George and Jessie, his two siblings Marion (Rydde) and Terry, and his wife Myrna, Norm is survived by his son Ron and several nieces and nephews.
Norm was born on January 8th, 1932 in Prince Rupert, BC. He worked at Columbia Cellulose until his retirement. Norm was Prince Rupert's "reel" man, a passion he had for over 60 years. He was a good and kind man. Family and friends were very important to him and he was blessed with many.
Surrounded by family, Norm passed away early Sunday morning on July 14, 2019 in Prince Rupert Regional Hospital, from complications following a stroke. He was 87.
Norm had a profound gratitude toward the doctors, nurses and physio staff of the 3rd floor who all went above and beyond to ensure Norm's safety and comfort were met. He enjoyed and appreciated all of you.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Prince Rupert Golf Club on Saturday, September 7th, 2019 from 1 to 5 pm.
