January 24, 1930 - April 17, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nellie Delloch (Bill) on April 17, 2021.
Nellie was born on Jan 24, 1930 and was predeceased by her late husband Wilf who passed in 1971 and by her two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her three adult children Belinda (Russ), Kurt (Anna) and Rod (Michelle), eight adult grandchildren (Matthew, Sean, Dieter, Stefan, Luke, Nicole, Daniel and Joseph) and eight great grandchildren.
Nellie was born in Prince Rupert and was always a vocal booster of the city. Growing up she was an avid high school Rainmaker basketball player, after which she joined the Navy Reserves.
Nellie enjoyed socializing with friends, curling, golfing, visiting her sister and extended family in Arizona, and watching her family grow in Rupert where she was always present and supporting the activities of her numerous grandchildren. She was in more recent years an upbeat participant in her days at the Senior Centre and during her time at Summit Residence Assisted Living.
Due to COVID-19 a public funeral will not be held. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in memory to the North Coast Health Improvement Society charity to help better the lives of the residents at Acropolis Manor and Assisted Living.
Our family would like to thank friends near and far for their condolences and support. We would also acknowledge and extend our appreciation to the staff at Summit Residence for going above and beyond in ensuring quality to her time there. Special thanks to Dr De Klerk and many kind and compassionate nurses at Acropolis Manor in her last days. Nellie was a truly special person and will be greatly missed by all.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
