It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Mary Kirkbright our beloved mother and (Nan), on June 4, 2021.
Nancy was born on June 5, 1936, in Whitby England and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1972.
Nancy was predeceased by her late husband George who passed away 2007, her daughter Deborah, and grandson Jamie.
She is survived by her two daughters Christine (Jimmy), Julie (Ben) and her grandchildren Aysha, Kieran, Callum, Paige, and Oscar Aparcio great grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, Ava, Bianca, as well as extended family Bob Vetter and Alex Aparcio.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family & friends both here and in England. She loved cooking Sunday dinners, playing darts, watching her favorite Brit TV shows always brought a laugh to the household. Nancy loved life and lived it to the fullest always giving back.
Nancy was truly a Special Kind, she worked hard in a variety of fields. Nancy and her husband George started the PR Receiving Home for youth on Atlin Avenue and many youths (now grown) have always respected and loved them for supporting them in that period in their lives.
Nancy will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
