It is with a heavy heart we regret to inform you our Mother/ Grandmother has joined her Heavenly family.

Mom fought a brave battle with cancer and COPD. Mom is the great-granddaughter of Simeon Stilta. She was predeceased by her great grandmother Maryanne Norman and Axel Hanson whom raised her as her mother, Emily, passed away when she was two years old. She is also predeceased by her father Gunnar Delgren, husband George L Dudoward, and son David R Dudoward.

Mom sewed the Inverness Cannery horseshoe flags for the gillnetters and packers on her Granny's Singer treadle sewing machine for several years while living at Inverness Skeena River. The flags were red with a white horseshoe on both sides. Mom worked at Prince Rupert Fishermen's Co-Op from 1967 to 1986. She was hired on the spot, shucking crabs in her white coveralls and high heels as boots were not provided at the time.

Many Thanks:

Dr.'s who did the best of their ability. Nurses who gave the care they could offer. First Responders

& Ambulance Attendants for their excellent care and transportation to hospital. Laboratory nurses, especially Holly. Hospice workers, especially Melanie. Home Care Nurses for being there for Mom when they could. Last but not least, thank you for my daughters for being there when they could. Also, Norm for being there for Mom and I.

I love you to the Moon & Back my Little Eaglet. Your loving daughter, Joan (always by your side).
