With profound sadness we announce the death of or mother, grandmother and aunty, ANNIE MILDRED LEASK. On Thursday February 28 at 06:32 am she went to be with her lord after a long struggle with kidney and heart disease.
Millie was born October 22, 1931 in Hartley Bay, BC, to Ambrose and Violet Robinson. She was married to William Clarence Leask.
Predeceased by siblings: Albert Robinson, Charlie Robinson, Marjorie Hill, Lucy Clifton, Cissy Assu, Daphne Anderson. She is survived by brother Douglas Robinson, children; two son's Frank (Karen) and Lloyd (Sherry) Leask, daughter Ruby (Tom) Kingshott, seven grandchildren; Michael and Ryan Leask, Lianne Edenshaw, Marissa Adams, Janelle Ronson, Stephen and Billy Kingshott, and one great granddaughter; Karly Beth Leask.
A short memorial will be held at United Church in Prince Rupert on Tuesday, March 12th at 7:00 pm. Refreshments will be provided for a family and friend gathering downstairs. Interment of ashes will occur at Hartley Bay cemetery at a later date.
