It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melody Marian Brown (née Nelson), who passed away April 18th, 2020 at the age of 52. She leaves behind two daughters, Jessica and Stacey Brown and former spouse Geoff Brown, who will miss her deeply. Melody was born in Price Rupert to parents Gloria Nelson and Andy Vilfan. Melody had a passion for helping others and was a joy to be around; She worked as a care aide at Minoru Residence and was loved by staff and residents. Melody was a loving mother, spouse, daughter, sister, auntie and cousin and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
