With sadness, we announce the passing of Margret Ann Johnson (Valderhaug). She was predeceased by parents Martin and Anna Valderhaug, brothers Einar and Norman and her son Kristofor Johnson. Margret was also predeceased by her husbands Peter Bonneschranz and Robert L. Johnson.
Margret is survived by her children Michel, Jon (Terry), Ann-Margit and Andrew and her grandchildren Mikael, Pieter, Zakarie, Kaylee, Dean and Joeseph.
Margret was born and raised in Prince Rupert, B.C. and has lived in the family home for most of her life.
She enjoyed learning about history and the world around us. Margret would often share her Norwegian recipes and culture along with stories from her younger years of travelling to Norway. In her earlier years, Margret worked in banking and at Prince Rupert Fisherman's Co-op.
The family would like to thank Dr. Crawshay, Teresa, Gilbert, Tiffany and the rest of the nurses and staff at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital for the care and kindness for Margret over the past year.
