In loving memory ~
Lynne Hill passed away on January 29th, 2023. She fought kidney disease and skin cancer for so long, eventually contracting pancreatitis and pneumonia, which she also fought with a vengeance. (Our gratitude to Christa, Paige and Jonni who helped us with medical knowledge, patience and guidance. Special thanks to Chris in the emergency department at PRRH for being kind, caring and gentle with our mom.)
Lynne was predeceased by her husband - Ernie; her parents - Dr. Gladstone and Dorothy Fiddes; her brother - Don; her sister - Gladys.
Lynne leaves behind so many grieving souls:
Cameron, Eva, Rachel, Karl, Kainen, Morgan, Colton, Max, Evie and Jodi. As well, her family in Edmonton, Margot, Vince, Shelby, Morgan, Gordon, Kim and Kelsey.
Mom was devoted to Goodie's family including his sisters, Dolly and Vi and their families. As well as his late brothers, Abbey and Clare. She loved them all and delighted in joining with dad's mother (No'o), grandmother (Violet), aunts and uncles - in family festivities her entire adult life.
Lynne also leaves behind extended birth family members in Washington and the southern USA.
Mom shared her table and whatever she had with numerous relatives and guests. She especially loved to serve eetsm 'anaayi with biloos, eggs, bacon and sausages on Sunday mornings. We miss her hosting 'elevensees.'
Mom, we will miss you. We thank you for being kind, fair and loving. We thank you for always making sure we had music and laughter and delicious snack breaks. We thank you for teaching us and sharing your love with so many. Hagwil Yaan.
- Cam and Jodi
