It is with heavy hearts that we announce Lolita’s passing. She passed away peacefully and happily at home on November 12, 2016. She is survived by her sons Lolito and Paul, daughters Judy, Denia and Lulu, beloved grandchildren and cherished great grandchildren. Lolita follows her husband Romulo and son Romulo Jr.
A proud lola and great lola, known for her empanadas (arguably the best in Vancouver), lovingly helped raise some of her grandchildren when they were little and cheered the loudest out of all of us when the Canucks scored a goal. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends – including those who played Majong with her every week. Wherever we go, we know your love will find us.
A memorial will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, 5PM.
