Lloyd Edward Jackson who served as Pastor of Prince Rupert Fellowship Baptist for 31 years from 1956 to 1987 has passed away peacefully in Abbotsford BC following a stroke.
Pastor J revitalized the church and led the development of the current church facility. He loved the Lord and cared deeply about people. Many were deeply influenced by his character and his teaching, and he led many to a personal faith in God as a result. He was always known for his warmth, good humour, his stories, and his constant readiness to help others.
He will be lovingly missed by Agnes, his wife of sixty-six years, two sons, Dave (Kathy) and Barry (Giselle), six grandchildren; Becky, Ruth, Steven, Sarah, Shana, and Keri and nine great grandchildren.
