Aug 4, 1930 - Dec 30, 2017
In the morning of December 30, 2017 Ken heard a gentle call. He took the hand God offered him and quietly left us all.

Ken was born in Okotoks, Alberta, August 4, 1930. He was predeceased by his parents Art and Buella, his sister Lorraine, his beloved mother-in-law Alma Hammond and by his son Kevin (2004).

He is survived by Marlene, his wife of 57 years, daughter Shellee (Eddie), sons Kyler and Kolin and his daughter-in-law Terri Lynn and grandson Stephen.

Ken tried his hand at various occupations. He fished for the Co-op, he worked for the Canadian Army on the Alaska Highway in the Yukon. He retired after 24 years working as the custodian at King Edward School.

Ken was a true Rupertite. He said that he could always find a job to do here. Rupert was where he raised his family. He had no desire to live anywhere else.

Since 2015, Ken has been part of the "Waiting for God Squad" at the Acropolis Manor.

God in his mercy released Ken to Glory.
