June Alison Adams, 55, of Prince Rupert, B.C. passed away suddenly May 21, 2016 with her family by her side at Vancouver General Hospital due to complications from cancer.

June was born April 10, 1961 in Richmond to Alison Crawford and Eliza Crawford. She grew up in Vancouver until she moved to Prince Rupert in 1991 and married Richard Adams in 1992. She and Richard have lived together in Prince Rupert since then. June loved the community and neighborliness of Prince Rupert and she became an active member of the church and community. Her work in bookkeeping for different companies kept her active in Prince Rupert. No stray cat was without a home, if they came down June’s street. She was known for her warm smile, giving heart and cheerful personality.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Richard and her mother Eliza and brother Roy. Her brothers in law Daniel, Stewart and Edward Adams will miss her smile and constant happiness. Her Sisters in law Jamie Crawford, Elaine Arthur and Barb Adams, her nieces Danielle, Alyssa, Tea and Paige Adams and a number of good friends in Vancouver and Prince Rupert will forever miss June.

A service will be held in Prince Rupert at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at 2:00pm. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Richmond, B.C.

Instead of flowers the family requests donations be made to either: • Canadian Cancer Society or • St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
