Julie passed away early Monday morning, June 17 2019 after her battle with cancer.
Julie was born in Prince Rupert , on September 06 1951, she stayed in Prince Rupert all her life. As a young woman, Julie was a feisty gal who didn't take no guff. She served the public as co-manager of The Empress Hotel with her first husband and co-manager of the Totem Bingo Hall with her second husband, all this while running a household, being mom/ stepmom and granny. Julie was well known in the community she could be found with her two sisters at garage sales looking for the bargains and then at local bingo games hoping to win the big one.
Julie was predeceased by Don Lagimodiere (1st husband), Neal Bryant (2nd husband), Debbie Bryant (stepdaughter), Howard & Marion Pierce (parents), sisters Carol VanHulle & Betty Heal.
She leaves behind her partner Jake Ford, daughter Donna Bryant ( Jim Roberts), and Donna's children Neal & Matthew, step children Richard & Lori Bryant, and their children, her brother Norman (Joanne) Pierce, many nieces and nephews as well as her beloved dog Chica.
There will be no service as per request, a Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers , donations can be made to the Cancer clinic at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.
