Joseph Lawrence Meggison

December 11, 1954 - September 7, 2019
Joe passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a sudden, tough and brief battle with cancer. He was born in Provost, AB but
moved to Prince Rupert, BC with his family in 1957. He travelled and lived in many different places but lived the larger portion of his life in Prince Rupert.
Joe had many skills; he worked in the oil fields, fisherman, Captain/Engineer and Environmental response with Canadian Coast
Guard. He loved playing guitar, writing music, singing and was in many different bands. He also enjoyed travelling, reading, motorcycles, sailing and spending time with his family.
Joe will be missed by his wife Connie, sons Joshua (Jasmin), Jeremiah, Joel (Chantal), grandchild Cora, his mother Georgina Meggison, brother Les (Jeanne), sisters Kate (Chris), Carol (Filip), extended family and his
special "Puppa Bella Chase".
The family would like to thank family and friends that have shown their support at this difficult time. They invite those that knew him to his Celebration of Life; November 16, 2019, 7:00 pm - 12:00 am at the Curling Rink.
