John passed away in Prince Rupert Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 with his family by his side.
John was born in Pembroke, Ontario on November 16, 1950 to the parents of Hubert and Frances (McGovern) Sylvestre, both of whom are predeceased.
John has numerous siblings, being the brother to Mary (Beatty) McGonegal (both predeceased), Eileen (Ernie) Lamb, Noreen (John) Shepherd, twin Michelle (Jim - predeceased) Niefer, Denise (Wayne) Helgason, Gerald (Kathy) Sylvestre and Greg (Nancy) Sylvestre.
A mass will be celebrated at the Church of Annunciation on April 27th @ 11 am.
A celebration of life will be held at the Highliner Plaza, April 28th at 1 pm. All friends are welcome to join the family to celebrate John's life. We would love to hear your stories.
