We are saddened to announce the passing of Johann"John"Bernhardt in his home April 10, 2021. Predeceased by his parents, Maria and Simon, and his wife Mary-Anne, John is survived by his two brothers Charlie (Carol) Bernhardt and Robert (Wendy) Bernhardt; nieces Sara Bernhardt, Amie (Fraser) Noble, Jessica Bernhardt and nephew Travis (Crystal) Bernhardt.
Born in Linz, Austria, John grew up in Eston, Saskatchewan before settling in Prince Rupert. His career in the fishing industry fueled a love of music and travel, which saw him spend many winters abroad with his wife.
A private celebration of John's life will occur at a later date.
