Patricia Joan Crowe (formerly Murdoch, nee Bennett) passed away with family by her side at Whitehorse General Hospital following a stroke. Joan was born and raised in Prince Rupert B.C., graduating from Booth Memorial High School in 1957.
She later lived in Vancouver, Whitehorse, Victoria and Parksville, before returning to Whitehorse to be closer to her adult children and their families in the last year and a half of her life.
She had wonderful childhood friends from Prince Rupert and attended many Prince Rupert Nite reunions in Vancouver, along with her sister Sheila Dorval and her husband Wayne Crowe.
She was a kind and gentle person and a wonderful mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.
