We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jared Taylor Joseph on June 28, 2023. Jared was born on March 12, 1995, in Smithers, B.C.
He attended Smithers Secondary School & Charles Hays Secondary School. He studied to be a heavy equipment operator and received many other trade certifications.
Jared is survived by his Mother Jackie Joseph, Stepfather Scott Burns, Brother Trevor Joseph (Kathleen Johnny), Nephew Hector Johnny, Sister Justice Joseph, Grandmother Gladys Anderson, Grandfather Gordon Suvee and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his father, Lawrence Brian Suvee and grandparents Mary Joanne Joseph and Reginald Donald Morisson.
In his teens, Jared lived with his godparents Joan & Jules Joseph in Smithers and also with Darlene & Cam McIntyre in Prince Rupert. He was an avid skateboarder and would often skip school to go skateboarding.
He was also very charming with the ladies. He is very much missed by his family for his caring heart, sense of humor and his beautiful smile.
A Celebration of Jared's life was held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Prince Rupert Fellowship Baptist Church.
