It is with great sadness that family announce the peaceful passing of Janice at the age of 64, surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her mother June Thibeault (Father Harry, predeceased), daughter Barbara Genert (Christopher), grandchildren, Paige, Quinton and Madison. Brothers, John (predeceased), Larry (Colleen), Joe (Cherial), Jim (Lori-Ann). Sisters, Louise Rutherford (Ray), Deborah Reymer (Tony predeceased), long time friend and companion Sandy Anderson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Janice was born in Kamloops, B.C. on March 15th 1955. From a young age Janice had a passion for art and being near the water. Whether it was camping, fishing or enjoying a bonfire, Janice had a love for spending time outdoors. She spent many hours creating pieces with her hands, crafting, drawing and painting. Keeping with Janice's wishes there will be no service at this time, a Celebration Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation, Canadian Cancer Foundation or the 100 Mile Hospice Society. The family would like to thank the many Doctors, Nurses and staff who helped Janice through her illness.
