October 9, 1939 – September 18, 2016

After battling Parkinson’s disease for the last 25 years of his life, Harold passed away peacefully at 76 years of age with his son and daughter at his side, just as he had wished for.

Harold was self employed as a Civil Engineering Technologist in Prince Rupert since the mid 1970’s, where he proudly designed many homes and buildings throughout his career. He was also employed by the Municipality of Saanich.

Harold took advantage of the single life after leaving Victoria, returning to Prince Rupert for his retirement years. His number one passion was his boat, enjoying many family outings fishing and picnics on the beach. In recent years, before his illness took hold, Harold was able to take a Caribbean cruise, make plentiful road trips, golfing along the way and always made sure he spent quality family time in Fort St. John with his children and grandchildren for weeks to months at a time.

Harold was predeceased by his parents Buster and Jordis Hill, brother Terry and sister Joey. Harold will be lovingly remembered by his son Bryan (Ovvian), daughter Lisa (Jeremy) and stepson Kwesi. Grandchildren, Cory, Trevor, Jordan, Nate and Brendan. Harold is also survived by sisters, Pat, Carol (Vern), brother Michael (Rosa), brother-in-law Pat and many nieces and nephews.

We love and miss you with all of our hearts Dad and Grandpa.

A small private gathering will take place in 2017.
