In Loving Memory ~ Gino passed away peacefully at the Prince Rupert Hospital with his family by his side. He was 83 years old.
Gino was born in Lussinpiccolo Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1956 at the age of 18. He landed in Toronto and made his way to Prince Rupert in 1958.
It was there that he met his soulmate Sharon. They were married in July of 1960 and spent the next 61 years building their life. During this time, Gino and his business partner founded Marinex Sheet Metal. Gino was multi-talented and enjoyed painting, fishing, woodworking, mushroom picking and spending time at his cabin on the Kasiks River.
He was predeceased by his parents Giovanni & Maria, his sisters Cesarina, Romilda, Berta, Antonieta, and Laura.
He is survived by his loving wife Sharon, children Tammy (Rory), Debbie (Marcel), Gary (Amber).
Nonno will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Kendall (Shawnel), Katrina, Brianna (Leighton), Josh, Gina, and Justin. He will also be missed by his two great-grandchildren Brantley and Brynn. He is also survived by his sisters Zita and Liva, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank all of the nurses on Third Floor for all the care and compassion they showed our Dad.
