It is with heavy hearts we share Buddy's sudden passing at the age of 90. Born and raised in Prince Rupert, Buddy lived and raised her family here until 1989 when she moved to Parksville. She returned to Rupert in 2014 to be closer to family and enjoyed 10 years of reading, baking, and visiting or talking on the phone with friends & family. Buddy was a strong-minded, independent woman with a deep sense of family responsibility; family and friends meant everything to her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph (1981), sister, Bunty Rhyno (2005) and son, Barrie (2018).
She is survived by her sons John, Martin (Marianne) and Brian (Melony), 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson, her brother, Boyd Barrie (Jeanette) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. We will miss our family coffee times & celebrations with her, in addition to her scones, butter tarts, cookies and waffles.
As per Buddy's request there will be no service.
