1937-2020 ~ Born in Lacub, Philippines, Edna (nee Valera) passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Sergio (2019), her parents Alfredo and Jovita, and siblings Domenica and Apolinario.
Edna and Sergio immigrated to Prince Rupert with their six children in 1971. They retired to Comox and spent their last years in New Westminster.
Edna is survived by children: Conrado (Brenda), Mario (Wendy), Mary Jane (Stan), Erwin (Liz), Gerardo (Rachel), Charito (Andrew) ;grandchildren Shelby (Ron), Myles (Kathrina), Jared, Danica, Miguel, Daniel, Madison, Alexander; great-grandsons James and Rhys; brothers Alfredo Jr., Francisco (Mary, son Wayne), Libertino; and numerous relatives and friends.
A private funeral service was held at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Burnaby BC.
