December 10, 1929 - September 29, 2018
Dorothy Lucille Bagshaw passed away at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital on September 29th, 2018.

Dorothy is survived by her brother Don Roberts from Victoria, her daughters Heather Hall, Cathy DeForge (Rick), step-daughter Ella Berrington (Arnold), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Bill, daughter Shirley Dyble, her parents Fred and Bess, brothers Bill, Hugh, Fred, Charlie, George, Jim and Gerald, as well as sisters Geraldine and Louise.

She was born in Corbin B.C. on December l0th, 1929. She moved to Prince Rupert with her family in 1944 from Noralee, where her father had been stationed during the war. Later she met Bill, the love of her life, and they married and had a wonderful life together. They had four girls. She worked in the fishing industry for many years and later in retail. Having an outgoing personality, she met many people who became lifelong friends. Her home was always open for that cup of coffee, or just a friendly stop to say "hello".

When she couldn't get out much the last couple of years, the phone was very important for communication, and she loved chatting daily to different family members and friends. It made her so happy.

She was a great grandmother, a fantastic baker, and loved her gardening. Dorothy will be missed by all. She touched many lives in different ways.

We love you, Mom, Grandma, Sister and Friend.

Special thanks to Dr. Kloepper, Moms #1 and all the nurses for such wonderful TLC.

My sister Cathy and I (Heather) will be forever grateful for everything everyone has done for mom over the years. We can't thank you enough, you are all loved, and we are grateful for your friendship, your kindness, generosity, help and your love of our mother. There are some we have to personally thank for the special love and care of our mother; Marie, Helena, Norma, the whole Hidber family and Aunty Gertie. Mom was so grateful for all of you, very special in her life. We thank everyone else who personally touched moms heart over the years.

Our love to you all, Cathy & Heather.
