It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Trent Douglas on March, 22, 2022 after a short stay at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Donald and Helen Douglas, Prince Rupert and sister Heather Gammon, Victoria.
Survived by daughter Kori (Bill) Evans of Prince Rupert, daughter Tanis Douglas (Clayton) of Prince Rupert, son Kevin Davies of Fort McMurray, seven grandchildren, Michael Evans, Gianna Evans, Zachary Evans, Maddox Evans, Hannah Douglas, Sydney Greer and Ray Davies.
Also, four sisters, Dona Dorash of Surrey, Amber Douglas of West Kelowna, Sherry Gimse of Lillooet, Helen Lally Douglas of Prince Rupert, two brothers, Frank Clayton (Margaret) Douglas of 108 Mile, George (Masumi) Douglas of Port Edward. As well as, many nieces, nephews and cousins and two very special friends, Dylan Hughan and Norman Vitkil.
Trent spent his life as a commercial fisherman and on occasion drove for Skeena Taxi. Trent retired his last season fishing tuna off the Oregon Coast. Trent had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He was an excellent cook and his friends and family would always look forward to the big meals he would prepare. Trent loved his dogs and spent many hours in his garden or puttering in his shop.Trent has many friends and acquaintances and he will be deeply missed by all.
Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
