Denise Freda Bagshaw

December 25, 1971 - February 7, 2022
Denise passed away peacefully in her sleep with her partner Jim by her side. She is predeceased by her father Art Bagshaw, her grandmother Freda Bagshaw, and many other family members.
Left to cherish her memory are her life partner Jim Moore, daughter Tenille Bagshaw, son Aodhan Moore and stepson Dakota Moore, Mother Anne Dennis, siblings Scott (Irma) Bagshaw, Laurie (Brian) Bagshaw and Madeline Bishnoi, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Denise was born and raised in Prince Rupert and her life included time with her family, enjoying a coastal lifestyle including camping, fireworks and a good bonfire. Her journey included a move to Vancouver Island where she began her advocacy work. She had a thirst for knowledge and was furthering her education to attain a Bachelor of Social Work.
Denise lived every moment to the fullest, had a heart of gold and would drop everything to help anyone. She also stood out with her flair for fashion, with an absolute love of purses, shoes and accessories. Denise loved anything glitzy, glamorous and vintage and the more sequins and sparkle the better.
The only thing Denise loved more was family, which was everything to her. Denise and Jim spent 30 years together building and strengthening their family, supporting each other and their children. Denise was so very proud of her children and did everything she could to encourage them and support them in whatever they chose to do.
Denise had so very many friends and family, near and far, whose lives she touched in such a lasting and positive way. She was dearly loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
