With heavy hearts, the Dickens family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend Deirdra on August 20, 2018 at 72 years of age.
She will be forever missed by Sonny her husband of 52 years, children Tanya (Ron), Terena (Jonathan) and Sonny (Tamara). Deirdra was thrilled and complete when her beautiful grandchildren came into her life - Krysta, Tyler, Tristen, Judd, Jenna, Hunter, Jakob, Trinity, Jace and Logan.
Deidra was blessed to have a wonderful sister Dianne (Robert) and special lifelong friends Nancy (John) Lalonde, Roberta (Skip) Cronck and Teresa (Doug) Mackereth. Predeceased by her precious baby girl Natasha, mother Hannah, father Dmitro and sister Kathleen.
Deirdra's family had a private service to celebrate her life and she was laid to rest beside her daughter Natasha. A special thanks to all medical professionals in Prince George and Prince Rupert. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Prince Rupert Hospice Society, PO Box 191, Prince Rupert, BC V8J 3P6.
Mom, because of you and Dad we are what we are today, thank you, we love you both.
