Crystal Marie Lorraine Foerster

Crystal Marie Lorraine Foerster passed away peacefully at her home in Shawnigan Lake BC, on April 1, 2022 with her immediate family by her side. Crystal was born on November 14, 1958 in Prince Rupert, the firstborn, to Marie Paulette G. Thibault and Joseph Gerard (Gerald) Desautels. She is predeceased by her father Gerald Desautels and brother Marc Desautels.
She is survived by her mother Paulette, her brother Greg, (Samuel & Levi), Sister Tracey (Garin) nieces Austyn and Alorah, her loving husband Gerry Foerster, son Jordon Foerster (Christina) and her precious grandkids Dale and Brooklyn. Her daughter Michelle Foerster (Nick) and a new grandson due to be born in September 2022. Also survived by her sisters-in- laws Lorraine (Raymond) and Barbara (Dave) and many Niece's and Nephew's.
She would travel with Gerry to visit their grandkids on Vancouver Island 4-5 times a year, spending as much "imagination" time as she could with them, playing with them and keeping them enraptured with her infamous Witch Wanda" magical babysitter stories. Crystal was fortunate to have taken many trips with her kids and grandkids to Mexico, Disneyland, Maui, to a winter mountain cabin, and camping in the summer.
Crystal and Gerry fulfilled their long term plans to move to Vancouver Island in July 2019 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. As luck would have it, the medical care for Crystal was also more readily accessible there.
She will be greatly missed and leaves behind many beloved friends as a direct reflection of the beautiful person she was. Her spirit glows within all of us and will continue to shine bright long after her passing.
