It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mom Chrissy. Born on April 23, 1957 in Prince Rupert BC, Christine passed away on January 12, 2023 in Vancouver BC.
She is survived by her children; Candice, Bianca (Jamie), Nando and Marco; her husband Vince and her granddaughters Lola and Scarlett Quast. She is also survived by her sisters Candice (Peter) Van Tankeren; and Cheryl (Jim) Sayers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
Predeceased by her mom and dad, Helga & Phillip Lang; her brothers Ronald (Theresa), Roger and Russell Lang and her niece Jennifer Mintenko. She was also predeceased by her adoptive parents Angie & Reg Wesley who raised and cared for her from adolescence.
We would like to extend our thank you's to the palliative care staff at St. Paul's hospital, most notably Caitlin, Flora and Cherisse. Their care and compassion was above and beyond. A most heartfelt thank you to the Mitchell family; Renee, Mike, Leighanne and John.
In lieu of flowers, please register to become an organ donor. A service for Chrissy will be held in Prince Rupert and will be announced at a later date.
