Beverley Marlene Pilfold, 84, of Prince Rupert, B.C. passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2024.

Beverley Marlene Pilfold was born May 31, 1939 to parents Thomas DiGuistni and Dorthey A. Crutchley in Vancouver, B.C.

She had a colourful childhood living in a variety of communities such as Prince Rupert, East Vancouver, Kitchener and even Yellowknife. She married young to her first husband Raymond Arnold Severance on August 11, 1956 and soon after gave birth to two boys, Samual George (Severance) Pilfold and Raymond Thomas (Severance) Pilfold. All three of who predeceased her.

After the end of her first marriage she moved back to Prince Rupert with her two boys where she met and married Edward George Pilfold (predeceased) and gave birth to a third son Edward Vincent Pilfold.

Beverley worked a variety of different jobs in her lifetime but ended her career in administration with the Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans. She was very spiritual, positive, and a great listener. She enjoyed her healing crystals, writing poetry and reading a good book. She was always ready to offer help to anyone that needed it.

She lived for her family. Always making sure her boys were takin' care of and that every child, family or not, was made to feel special every time there was a birthday, event or holiday.

She was survived by her loving son Edward Pilfold (wife, Kristina), pseudo daughter Amanda Rhyno, many good friends along with many grandchildren (Kennedy, Mercedes, Brayden, Ernest, Dustin, Naeveh and Breanna) and extended family that she thought of as her grandchildren. T

hey lovingly referred to her as "Nana Boop".

She will be truly missed by all.

A Celebration of life will be held for both (Beverley Marlene Pilfold) and the late (Raymond Thomas Pilfold) March 07, 2024 1-4pm at the Prince Rupert Golf Course Clubhouse. Thank you everyone for the condolences, cards and well wishes.
